Tando Fresno(California)- A consumer group in Tando Fresno California, affiliated with a Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader, has disclosed that the recently donated wheel chairs to one of the Stan countries in Central Asia were recalled by the manufacturers in January 2001, for defective alignment of wheels and axles, causing severe injuries to the weak and the handicapped. Our local correspondent reports that the donor Dr. Jarrah is planning to sue the company for fraud and embezzlement. While an attorney speaking on the condition of anonymity revealed that Dr. Jarrah infact knew about the wheel chairs being recalled before hand. He just wanted his professional colleagues in Kabul to have some more business.
Motorized Wheel Chair
While people in Mehrabpur,Dr. Jarrah's original hometown are staging a "sit in" on the Mehrabpur Railway Station Platform demanding motorized wheel chairs made in China or Japan.They said that only one donkey cannot support a town full of handicaps. Animal Rights Group is strongly supporting their demand and has already
sent a picture and specifications of the wheel chairs for the perusal of Dr. Jarrah.
